The Warriors ended their regular season dual match play with a couple of nice wins. The Lady Warriors took on the Mesa High Jackrabbits and handily defeated them by an 7-2 score. The boys ended up with a loss on that day. The final dual match of the season finished on a high note for both teams as the boys and girls both easily defeated Alhambra with an 8-1 victory.

Next week both teams will participate in the East Valley Region tournament on Friday and Saturday April 11th and 12th. The girls will play at Dobson High School and the boys will play at Mesa High. On April 18th, the 5A Division 1 State Tournament will take place at the Phoenix Tennis Center (girls) and the Paseo Raquet Club (boys). Advancing players will compete on April 19th at Paseo Raquet Club.

Special thanks and appreciation goes to all of our friends who supported the team with ECA donations. Both teams will be able to purchase uniforms and gear for the 2008 tennis season.
