Teaching Procedure:

1-  Read the book Rat-a-tat-tat  to the class by dividing the book into different parts.

2-  As the book is read, the different parts will emphasize steady speaking voice and using instruments.

3-  The class will say the line Rat-a-tat-tat in a steady speaking voice and use their instruments as the line in said.

4.  The lines (Who is that?  Open the door and see.)   Will be read by the teacher.  When the line (Open the door and see.)
is said a few class members will use instruments for the door.

5-  The class will use instruments and a steady speaking voice when the lines (Ooh, it's a dragon, crocodile, and monster).

6-  The class will use instruments when the phrases (breathing fire, snapping his teeth, and rolling his eyes) are said.

7-  The class will use instruments when the phrases (open the door, come in for tea) are said.

8-  On the last page when the phrases (No! No! No! and They might just gobble up me!), everyone will say the words in a
steady speaking voice with strong emphases on the words no and me.
